Not Far From Pittsburgh

For the educated mind to comprehend goodness, he/she must also understand opposites.  Reading helps enlighten but giving youth of African heritage something that touches their inherited spirits up from slavery is the challenge to all who would be good writers for and about "the least of us."  Renaissance is about more than a single generation of gifted and talented writers and artists residing in Harlem between World War I & II.  Rather, believers in the philosophy of the Man from Galilee, believe true renaissance is about generations of pro-creation, belief and struggles in challenges of goodness.  And renaissance includes learning geography!

Movies, radio, TV, and written ideology espoused in the 21st century, ... that we should forget about slavery and "move on" is a call to ignore Messianic goodness that eventually ended it.  Forgetting the hidden hands that shepherded men and women of functional faith (19th century Presbyterianism) is worse than ignoring racism and sexism, ... it is a form of bondage in the chains of ignorance.  Below stories can help enlighten some believers with more American pages for their bibles.
